Organic lemon detergent: a natural "soap" to disinfect your dishes, save water and take care of nature.

ORGANIC LEMON DETERGENT
(for hand washing or dishwasher)

Preparation times: 25 minutes
Doses for: approximately 1.2L of detergent

Ingredients:
• Lemons: 750g
• WWF coarse sea salt: 250g
• White vinegar: 250ml
• Water: as needed

Preparation:
Cover the lemons in a pot with water and boil them until they become soft. Remember to rotate them from time to time and they will be ready when the fork flaps enter with ease.
Clean all the seeds from the lemons, remove the two ends and any other hard parts.
Heat the salt in the vinegar in a saucepan.
Transfer the lemons and vinegar with salt to a blender and run it.
If too thick, help yourself with a little lemon cooking water until the mixture obtains a creamy but not liquid consistency.

Your organic detergent is ready to wash and disinfect all your dishes by hand or in the dishwasher.

It's interesting to know that:
Washing by hand using this detergent requires a change of habit as it does not foam and, initially, you lack the feeling of effectiveness.
You actually notice that the dishes are odor-free, cleaner and shinier.
You immediately realize the significant reduction in water waste, considering that most of the water used with industrial detergent is used to remove foam.
Another benefit is that the washing water, being totally free of pollutants and rich in nutrients, can also be used to irrigate plants: the Earth thanks you!
