HISTORICAL PROFILE

The "Antico Frantoio Vallone" Company is located in the territory of Alcamo, "the true jewel of western Sicily", set in the heart of the D.O.P. Valli Trapanesi and that develops on a prosperous hill that slopes sinuously and gently towards the Tyrrhenian Sea. On it, in the XIX century, the baron Felice Pastore, an expert in agricultural disciplines, planted a lush olive grove there. For us Sicilians, the olive tree is the symbol of our fertile land, of our vigorous sun that wanted to give its vital power to the knots of the plant, to the color and in the full-bodied and aromatic flavor of its oil. Thanks to its particular exposure, to the temperate climate and to the loose and calcareous soil, the olive tree in our territory finds favorable environmental conditions for a luxuriant growth, flowering and maturation of the fruit.

It’s from those rich in prosperous and secular olive trees that prof. Vallone, renowned lover in the olive sector and his wife, a biologist, assisted by their sons, take care of the production of extra virgin olive oil with love and professionalism, sublimating its natural qualities and characteristics. The passion for the production of this oil of the highest quality and particularly genuine, unique for its fragrance and its goodness, arises spontaneously in the Vallone family and has been handed down for four generations, refining each time technical choices.
